Individual Donors

(1) Individual donations
We welcome donations of any amount, starting from 3000 Yen. Tax deductions are available for those who donate above a certain amount. Please refer to announcement No.1150 from the Japanese National Tax Agency. For details, please refer to the following website:

Those who donate 50,000 Yen or more, will be designated as Honorary Members of Toyo Bunko.※1 And those who wish may have their names listed on the donor’s panel in the garden. -
(2) Donation of inherited property or donation at death
We will be happy to confer with individuals who would like to donate part of inherited property in line with the wishes of the deceased.
We also welcome bequests from individuals who wish to make a contribution to society by including a donation to Toyo Bunko in their will.
In either of the above cases, donators can apply for a deduction in inheritance tax.
※1 Honorary Members of Toyo Bunko receive a lifetime pass for entry to the Museum and enjoy other benefits that have been given to “Friends of Toyo Bunko.”
Companies or Incorporated Bodies

(1) Supporting Companies
We request that companies that would like to be listed as supporting the activities of Toyo Bunko make donations in units of 50,000 yen. Supporting companies will be listed on the Toyo Bunko home page. (Companies will be listed for one year for a donation of 50,000 yen).

(2) Exhibition Sponsors
The Toyo Bunko Museum holds three exhibitions a year. We welcome donations from companies that are interested in becoming “Exhibition Sponsors”. Please see the details of this program below.
- We request donations of 5,000,000 yen to serve as the sponsor of the 3–4-month long exhibition.
- An Exhibition Sponsor will be listed in the display space, in the brochures for the exhibition, on the Toyo Bunko home page, and in all other forms of advertising for that exhibition.
- Exhibition Sponsors will receive 1000 “invitation tickets” providing free admission to the exhibition.

Please fill out the Donation Form and send it by mail, Fax, or e-mail (friend@toyo-bunko.or.jp). When sending the form by e-mail, please send it either as a PDF file, or scan the form and send it as an image file.

Payments can be made in one of the following ways:
