[IMPORTANT] Notice of change in using the Toyo Bunko Library from January 21st (Wednesday), 2026

Due to facility construction, currently, reservations are required for all users who wish to read any materials (not only rare books but also regular collections of the library).

From January 21st (Wednesday), 2026 onward, Toyo Bunko Library will change the usage of the reading room as follows.

・Readers do not need to make appointments to use materials in the regular collections of Toyo Bunko. However, if you want to use Rare Books, you need to make a reservation ahead of time.
・Reservations for regular collections are also available.

When using the library or making a reservation, please be sure to check the following pages carefully.
