[IMPORTANT] Notice of change in using the Toyo Bunko Library

Due to facility construction, from March to November 2025, Toyo Bunko Library will change the usage of the reading room.
During this March, reservations are required for all users who wish to read any materials (not only rare books but also regular collections of the library).

If you would like to make a reservation, please complete the application procedure on the following page by 15:00 at least two business days (excluding Saturdays) before you plan to visit the library.
Material Reservation Form

* Each person can request up to 5 items of Rare Books (with up to 25 volumes / or folding cases for Japanese and Chinese classics) per day.
* If you want to use the library for more than one day, please make appointments day by day.

Further changes may occur from April onwards depending on the construction status.
