Announcement of Leadership Change at Toyo Bunko Museum

Toyo Bunko Foundation is pleased to announce that, effective June 17, 2025, Mr. Tokio Takata, Executive Director of the Foundation, has been appointed as the new Director of Toyo Bunko Museum.
This appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Kenichiro Hirano, who has served as Director with dedication and distinction.
Under the leadership of Mr. Takata, the Museum will continue to fulfill its mission of promoting Oriental studies.
