[IMPORTANT] Notice on using the Toyo Bunko Library during May 2025

As already announced, from March to November 2025, due to facility construction, Toyo Bunko Library will change the usage of the reading room.
During this May, reservations will continue to be required for all users, but the library may be temporarily closed depending on the progress of construction.

The opening status of the library after June has not yet been determined, so please be sure to check the following page carefully for the latest information before using the library or making a reservation.

Then, please complete the application procedure on the following page by 15:00 at least two business days (excluding Saturdays) before you plan to visit the library.

* There is a limit to the number of materials that can be reserved in a day, but for regular collections only, you may make additional requests on the day in addition to the reserved materials.
* If you want to use the library for more than one day, please make appointments day by day.

Our library staff will guide users with reservations to the reading room from the side entrance of the building.
Please note that, in principle, you will not be able to enter or exit the building between 12:00 and 13:00.
