CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
Chinese Buddhism in Globalization
Chinese Buddhism in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has increasingly globalized in the early twenty-first century. This conference will present interdisciplinary papers on the processes of state diplomacy and transnational mobilities conveying Chinese Buddhism and their local effects in Asia, Europe, and North America. This is the concluding conference of the research project, Chinese Buddhism in Globalization, sponsored by the Henry Luce Foundation, with GRIPS as the recipient institution.
