E. Morrison, Peking correspondent for <em>The Times<\/em> in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The database provides page images of the collection, arranged according to the classified catalogue published in 1972.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Key features:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Catalogue search by title, author, call number, and classification<\/li>\n<li>Full-text search of OCR text, with matches highlighted on the page image<\/li>\n<li>Original text summarization and Japanese summaries powered by OCR and AI technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Visualizations of classification, publication year, and vocabulary in the texts<\/li>\n<li>Open APIs (IIIF, DTS, and JSON)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u25b6 Morrison Pamphlets Integrated Database: <a href=\"https:\/\/morrison.toyobunko-lab.jp\/en\">https:\/\/morrison.toyobunko-lab.jp\/en<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Note: Some pages may be hard to read because the original materials were damaged by water.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The construction of this database was made possible in part through the research grant received by Yoshinobu Shiba from the Tang Prize Foundation.
