Biography
Central banker. Born in Ōita Prefecture.In 1913,head of the Yokohama Specie Bank.

In 1923,Finance Minister of the second Gonbei YAMAMOTO cabinet, and carried out the lifting of gold embargo.
In 1932,He was assassinated in the League of Blood Incident.
Pen Name 「清渓(Pure Valley)」,he was the First Director General of Toyo Bunko.
In 1936, his bereaved donated his 4,862 Economical books to Toyo Bunko.
